Franklin Concrete Company provides residential and commercial concrete contracting services, including but not limited to driveway installation, patio construction, foundation work, sidewalk building, stamped concrete, and related services in Franklin, MA and surrounding communities. The scope of any specific project is defined in the written estimate or contract provided to the customer.

3. Estimates and Pricing

All price estimates are provided in writing before any work begins. Estimates are based on the scope of work described at the time of the on-site visit. The following conditions apply:

• Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance, unless otherwise stated.
• Changes to the scope of work requested by the customer after an estimate has been approved may result in a revised estimate and additional charges.
• Unforeseen site conditions discovered during the course of work (such as buried debris, unstable soil, or access limitations) may require a scope adjustment, which will be communicated to the customer before proceeding.
• Material cost fluctuations beyond our control may affect pricing on projects that are scheduled significantly after the estimate date. We will notify you of any material changes before proceeding.

4. Scheduling and Cancellation

Project scheduling is subject to crew availability, weather conditions, and material lead times. The following terms apply to scheduling and cancellations:

• We will provide a project start date or date range when confirming your project. Specific daily start times may vary based on crew scheduling.
• Concrete work is weather-dependent. We reserve the right to reschedule work due to rain, extreme temperatures, or other conditions that would compromise the quality of the finished product. We will notify you as soon as possible in such cases.
• If you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made after materials have been ordered or equipment has been mobilized may be subject to costs already incurred.
• We reserve the right to cancel or decline any project at our discretion.

5. Payment Terms

Payment terms are outlined in your written estimate or project agreement. General terms include:

• A deposit may be required to secure scheduling on larger projects. The deposit amount and timing will be specified in your estimate.
• Final payment is due upon completion of the project, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of estimate. We do not accept payment arrangements not agreed upon in writing before the project begins.
• Unpaid balances may be subject to late fees and collection efforts if not resolved within a reasonable timeframe after the invoice date.

6. Customer Responsibilities

To allow us to complete your project efficiently, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your property and project requirements when requesting an estimate.
• Ensure access to the work area on the scheduled project date.
• Notify us of any underground utilities, irrigation lines, drainage systems, or other buried features in the work area before work begins. We are not responsible for damage to undisclosed underground features.
• Keep children and pets away from the work area during and immediately after the project, until the concrete has cured sufficiently.

7. Warranty and Workmanship

We stand behind our work. The following terms apply to workmanship and materials:

• We warrant our workmanship against defects in installation for a period of one year from the completion date, unless otherwise specified in your project agreement.
• Concrete is a natural material and minor surface cracks may develop over time, particularly in regions with freeze-thaw cycles. Surface cracking that does not compromise the structural integrity of the slab is not covered under this warranty.
• Warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by misuse, acts of nature, tree root intrusion, vehicle overloading, or other conditions outside our control.
• To request a warranty review, contact us in writing at hi@franklinconcretecompany.com with a description and photos of the concern.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Franklin Concrete Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to our services or your use of our website. Our total liability for any claim related to a specific project shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for that project.

We are not responsible for delays caused by weather, supply chain disruptions, subcontractor availability, or other factors outside our reasonable control.
